ABOUT NORTH BALI

As the name suggests North Bali is located directly north of Bali on the northern coastline of the island of Bali. Away from the heavy tourist areas of the south, this region offers a more tranquil Bali experience often overlooked by travellers. 

The main district of North Bali is Buleleng, with Singaraja the main town. It is here that the Atlas Pearls farm is located.

Sheltered by the mountains dividing east from west, North Bali has retained many of its own traditional rites and customs, providing an alluring experience for travellers looking for an authentic and traditional Balinese experience in the tranquil nature of North Bali.  

 

GETTING THERE

North Bali is approximately a three hour car ride from Denpasar, depending on traffic. It is possible to drive there and back in one day but there is so much to see and do on the way and in North Bali that it it seems only fair to stay at least one night. Ask your hotel concierge for assistance in booking a trusted driver.
