MR MARK LONGHUSRT
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Mark graduated as a Mechanical Engineer and gained experience in both mining and off shore oil and gas before starting up his own businesses in the WA marine industry.
Mark then joined the WA pearling industry in 1994. Starting his pearling career as a ‘shell chipper’ on a cleaning boat Mark worked his way to becoming the CEO of WA’s oldest pearling company.
Mark has hands on experience in every facet of pearling with a very successful leadership style. As the General Manager of MG Kailis' Broome Pearls, Mark led a team that re-engineered every stage of the pearling process, from hatchery to harvest, in order to achieve the perfect pearls within very tight cost constraints. The success of the reforms led to the launch of the Kailis Australian Pearls brand and retail networks in Australia and Europe.
As the CEO of Morgan Pearls Mark applied the same business reforms and extended his pearling experience into wholesale and retail trading.
MS DIANA KUBICKI
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER B.Com CPA
Ms Kubicki joined Atlas Pearls in March 2018 and is a qualified CPA with over 17 years’ professional accounting experience.
Ms Kubicki initially commenced her career in the audit division of Ernst & Young before moving into various financial roles at ASX listed companies in the Mining and Oil & Gas Industries.
Most recently Ms Kubicki spent three years at Macmahon Holdings Ltd which operates in the Mining Services Industry in Australia, Indonesia, Nigeria, Mongolia and Ghana.
Prior to joining Atlas, Ms Kubicki spent 8 years on the Board of the Carers Association of Western Australia.
MR TIM JONES
PEARL WHOLESALE MANAGER
Tim Jones has been working in the Cultured South Sea pearl industry since 2002. In that time he has been responsible for the valuation, sales and marketing of the annual harvests of three major pearl Producers. Based in Brisbane, Queensland, he oversees the distribution of the Atlas Pearls’ harvests through major auctions in Japan, as well as conducting regular private pearl transactions in Hong Kong, the U.S.A., Europe, Indonesia and Australia and New Zealand. Latterly he has also been involved in the development and growth of the Atlas Pearls Wholesale trade website.
Prior to relocating to Australia in 2001, Tim worked for The Diamond Trading Company as a Sales Executive and as an Overseas Diamond Buyer prior to that.
