ABOUT LABUAN BAJO, FLORES

Pulau Pungu (meaning Island in Bahasa), forms part of the Flores Archipelago and is located 20 minutes away from Labuan Bajo, a growing tourism destination tagged as the ‘next Bali’. Once a small fishing village, Labuan Bajo is now a bustling center of tourism.

Labuan Bajo is easily accessible with daily domestic and international flights,  and accommodation just minutes from the city center as well as ferry links to and from neighbouring islands. It is the launching point for trips to Komodo and Rinca Island, home to the famous Komodo dragons. Nearby Islands offer extensive diving and snorkeling experiences as well as amazing display of flying fox bats, trekking and waterfall sightseeing or just beach going. But of course, nothing beats the Pungu pearl farm tour, which ends with a sea through ‘in the mangrove’ showroom featuring Atlas Pearls latest ocean inspired creations.
